The Klungkung Regency Government announced the introduction of a tourism retribution fee system to help support the sustainability of tourism development, conservation, infrastructure and community projects within Nusa Penida Region, covering Nusa Penida island, Nusa Lembongan island and Nusa Ceningan Island.

To all tourists that entering Nusa Penida Region are required to pay a retribution fee. The retribution fee for Adult is IDR 25,000 per person and IDR 15,000 per person for children.

The tourism retribution fee system is applied from July 1st, 2019.

Following the official notice from the Klungkung Regency Government, effective 21 February 2026, the purchase of Nusa Penida / Lembongan / Ceningan Island Retribution voucher must be completed online via: [ https://www.trip.com/t/zN4IHfkD0U2 ]

Previously, the retribution payment could be made directly in cash upon arrival in Nusa Penida / Lembongan / Ceningan entry points. However, based on the latest regulation (effective 21 February 2026), on-site cash payment is no longer applicable and all tourists are required to secure their Retribution voucher (Entrance Pass) in advance through the website above.

The retribution fee system is enforced through port of departure or arrival points and will be re-checked by official team.
